Description

We present natural thyme hydrolate for detergents, from the species Thymus vulgaris. The product bears the name Thyme natural hydrolate for detergents in trade between individual countries. The extraction is based on steam distillation of the harvested aerial mass of the plant. The steam method retains the pure line of the herbal aroma, while the harvested plant mass determines how densely the scent of the finished liquid itself comes through. The strength of the aroma is at the upper end of the scale. The herbal side leads in the profile, and the woody notes follow closely behind it. Thymol, cymene, terpinene and carvacrol are at the forefront in the thymol chemotype, which is why the herbal profile of the liquid stands out clearly outlined ahead of the woody note. The aerial stalk together with the leaves and flowers on it is used for processing. The dark tone of the distillate, which ranges from yellowish to dark brown, comes from the same aerial mass, and therefore the color moves together with the aromatic density. The liquid looks uniform and clear on inspection. The genus belongs to the Lamiaceae family among the aromatic labiate herbs. The plantations grow on Bulgarian land in an entirely natural way. In addition, the composition remains free of preservatives and colorants, because natural cultivation does not allow foreign substances during the development of the plants themselves. Alongside its herbal density, the liquid also carries a woody shade that comes from the woody part of the stalk itself. The hydrolate conveys the character of the processed plant mass without any addition from an external source. More precisely, thyme defines both the dark range and the high strength of the aroma in this liquid.

Application
Thyme stalk hydrolate, obtained by steam distillation from natural cultivation, is a valuable ingredient in the production of cleaning detergents with a warm, herbal-spicy aroma. It is used in making dishwashing liquids with a refreshing effect, in all-purpose surface sprays with an antibacterial feel, as well as in floor cleaning formulas with a pleasant herbal note. It is also used in laundry additives for softening fabrics, in household disinfectants with an invigorating aroma, as well as in bathroom sprays with an antibacterial profile. It also finds application in air fresheners with a clean herbal character, in kitchen cleaning wipes, as well as in anti-mold solutions with a rich aromatic profile. It is also used in the production of liquid hand soaps, in fabric softeners with an herbal note, as well as in cleaning concentrates for surfaces with a long-lasting fresh aroma.
